Lockheed Martin received a $1.14bn FMS contract to deliver GMLRS to Poland, Bahrain and Romania, in March 2019. The vehicles were delivered to the XVIII Airborne Corps in April 1998 for a two-year evaluation with 3rd Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment. The vehicle weighs approximately 24,000lb (10,886kg) compared to more than 44,000lb (19,958kg) for the MLRS M270 launcher. All test objectives were met.
